Limone Medical Centre is an acute-care, out patient and in-patient medical facility in Mbuya, Nakawa Division in Kampala district.
We provides access to both emergency and routine care in the fields of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgery, Internal Medicine and Paediatrics through our team of well trained and licenced medical staff.
As part of the Comboni Missionaries family, Limone Medical Centre maintains the age old principles and values cultivated by our founders in offering our patients access to the resources and advantages of world-class care with our focus on them and not ourselves

Founding of LMC
Limone Medical Centre (LMC) Limited is registered by the Verona fathers as a company Limited by Guarantee under the laws of Uganda, incorporated on 09/09/2019. It was inaugurated on 07/02/2020 and started operations soon after.
Limone Medical Centre provides both outpatient and in-patient care. Currently, the facility operates at a capacity of 13 and is licensed by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
Limone Medical Centre was founded for the benefit of the Comboni Missionaries family and the general public, offering affordable high quality patient centered care.
Comboni Missionaries
The Comboni Missionaries of the Heart of Jesus/Missionari Comboniani Cordis Jesu (MCCJ) are a religious missionary congregation that lives the legacy of St. Daniel Comboni to carry the Gospel to the poorest and most abandoned. They have communities in all the continents apart from Australia.
St. Daniel Comboni
Daniel Comboni, born in Limone, Italy, in 1831, knew at an early age that he would be a priest and missionary. His love was Africa, and in 1854, when God called him there, Daniel answered with all his heart and soul.
St. Daniel devised a Plan not just to bring the Gospel to people who never heard it but also to prepare Africans to evangelize their own people — a revolutionary idea for his time. His motto, “Save Africa with Africa,” captures the essence of the trust he had in the African peoples.
